2009 • This Is

In 2009, I started working on performance that explored the basis of conceptual art. An early version was performed at the inaugural Colombo Art Biennale in 2009 as This Is. As the performance progresses, I construct a sculpture from bricks that represent my artistic influences and a quest to define reality. The audience is finally confronted by themselves in a broken mirror.
